Please Fill out A Project Form.  Be sure to take care of your animals.

Prevention is very important in keeping your projects free from disease and parasites. Breeding animals need a health plan and a breeding schedule.

Steers - Major show validation was in June 2009.
County show Validation was September 12th 2009 at JCSP Grounds 9-10am (Steers with Major show tags do not need a County tag.)

Sheep & Goats - Must Have Ordered Major show Validation tags - $10.00 each by Aug. 25, 2009.
Major show validation and County Lamb and Goat validation October 24, 2009 4-6 pm at Joshua Ag. facility. Wethers only for state  show.
(Sheep & Goats with Major show tags do not need a County tag)

Pigs - Order Major show Validation tags - $10.00 each. By Sept. 17 2009 Barrows only for state show.

Rabbits - County show Validation scheduled January  2010; 9-12am at Joshua Pet & Feed Store.

Beef Heifers - Start looking now for Dairy or Beef heifers. Heifers must be registered to be eligible to show at Major shows.
November 1, 2009- Ownership Deadline for all Registered Beef heifers. Be sure to check ownership dates for the shows you want to attend.

Dairy Heifers - Major show Ownership Deadline for all Registered Dairy heifers November 1, 2009.
County show Validation scheduled November 1st  2009 8-10am at JCSP Grounds.

Poultry - Turkeys were ordered in July 2009.
Chickens for County show must be ordered by October 6th 2009.

All other divisions (breeding animals, specialty animals or Ag. Mechanics Projects) ask for details.  If you need assistance with your project feel free to contact Mr. Webb or Mr. Bennett anytime.

Entry cards to shows must be signed by Ag Teacher verifying your participation in the project.
