Please Fill out A Project Form.  Be sure to take care of your animals.

Prevention is very important in keeping your projects free from disease and parasites. Breeding animals need a health plan and a breeding schedule.

Steers - Major show validation was in June 2007.
County show Validation was September 8th 2007 at JCSP Grounds 9-10am (Steers with Major show tags do not need a County tag.)

Sheep & Goats - Must Have Ordered Major show Validation tags - $10.00 each by Aug. 30, 2007.
Major show validation October 18, 2007 4-6 pm at JCSP Grounds. Wethers only for state  show.
County show Validation scheduled December 1st 2007 at JCSP Grounds 10-12 am.
(Sheep & Goats with Major show tags do not need a County tag)

Pigs - Order Major show Validation tags - $10.00 each. Barrows only for state show.
Major show validation November 27, 2007 4-6 pm at JCSP Grounds.
County show Validation scheduled December 1st 2007 at JCSP Grounds 10-12 am.

Rabbits - County show Validation scheduled January 19th 2008; 9-12am at Joshua Pet & Feed Store.

Beef Heifers - Start looking now for Dairy or Beef heifers. Heifers must be registered to be eligible to show at Major shows.
November 1, 2007- Ownership Deadline for all Registered Beef heifers. Be sure to check ownership dates for the shows you want to attend.

Dairy Heifers - Major show Ownership Deadline for all Registered Dairy heifers November 1, 2007.
County show Validation scheduled November 10th 2007 8-10am at JCSP Grounds.

Poultry - Turkeys were ordered in July 2007.
Chickens for County show must be ordered by November 16th 2007.

All other divisions (breeding animals, specialty animals or Ag. Mechanics Projects) ask for details.  If you need assistance with your project feel free to contact Mr. Webb or Mr. Bennett anytime.

Entry cards to shows must be signed by Ag Teacher verifying your participation in the project.
